AI Brand Mention

An AI brand mention is any occurrence of a brand's name or one of its products within the answer generated by an AI engine in response to a user's query. Unlike a citation, it does not necessarily include a link back to the site. For a DTC brand, these mentions reveal whether the AI actually knows the brand and surfaces it to potential buyers.
