AI Hallucination

An AI hallucination is a model-generated response that sounds plausible but is factually wrong or fabricated. The model states something with no grounding in its data. For a DTC brand, a hallucination can invent a wrong price, a feature that doesn't exist, or a false out-of-stock, misleading the shopper and damaging the brand's reputation.
