Agentic AI refers to AI systems that can act autonomously to reach a goal, chaining steps and using tools rather than simply answering. Applied to shopping, it gives rise to agents that compare, select and sometimes purchase products on a user's behalf. Brands therefore need their catalog to be readable and usable by these agents.
