Connect Shopify

The Catalogue screen answers one question: which products Tadow works on. It is where you connect your Shopify store, or import a few products by hand to try things out. Products listed here are the ones you can later select for a product scan. The app interface is in French, so the labels below are the ones you will see on screen, and the “Sources connectées (N)” table at the bottom lists every source your workspace has connected, each with its status: Actif, En pause, Erreur or Déconnecté.

Connecting Shopify, the recommended route

• The “Boutique Shopify” card carries the “Recommandé” badge for a good reason: it is the only route that imports your full catalogue, up to 5,000 products.
• “Connecter” opens Shopify’s standard OAuth flow. Tadow asks for three permissions: read_orders, read_products and write_products.
• Your catalogue is imported at connection time. After that, edits you make to your products in Shopify flow into Tadow on their own, with nothing to trigger by hand.
• That is why there is no “resynchroniser” button on this screen: the sync is continuous, not manual.
• write_products is the permission that later lets Tadow publish a catalogue fix you have approved. If your store was connected before that permission existed, Tadow will ask you to reconnect it the first time you try to publish.

Importing without connecting

• “Importer une boutique” starts from a store URL. “Importer les best-sellers” then reads the public storefront and brings back about 20 products, not the full catalogue.
• “Importer un produit” starts from a product URL and adds that single product, via “Importer ce produit”.
• Both imports exist so you can see what Tadow does on a few products before installing the app. As soon as you want to work on your real catalogue, use the Shopify connection.
